Dutch-born, Chinese-raised influencer Sander Kole — one of China’s most-followed foreign social media personalities, with nearly 20 million followers — has turned history into a viral phenomenon. His commissioned track Unit 731, performed by British artist Tim Moyo, is believed to be the first English-language song about Japan’s covert WWII biological warfare program in occupied China.
